How the Message Taking Service works

The Message Taking Service works in the following manner, this is a very simple example, combine it with other service to create a professional answering service:

1. caller dials the number.
2. answerphone service answers the call, optionally plays the caller a customisable prompt, such as 'Thank you for callling XYZ Ltd'.
3. the caller is prompted to leave a message
4. caller leaves message.
5. message is stored, you are notified by SMS (with caller CLI), or email with message as attachment.
6. messages may be managed via email, web, or phone

The key elements are that:

  • all the prompts can be turned off or tailored to your requirements by you directly
  • changes can be made at any time of the day or year
